Q. What is ELC’s Academic Aftercare?

A. ELC’s Academic Aftercare is a place where parents can feel confident that their children are being treated as if they were with their parents doing homework around the kitchen table.

Q. How is ELC’s Academic Aftercare different from a daycare center?

A. We are NOT a daycare. ELC’s Academic Aftercare helps every child meet his or her potential by fostering academic growth. ELC’s Academic Aftercare exists to serve families by supporting the unique academic and emotional needs of students.
ELC’s Academic Aftercare is committed to creating and maintaining an orderly, trusting, and caring environment where learning is exciting and students are assisted with academic support centered and designed to accommodate individual learning styles so that all may experience success.

Q. How does the program work?

A. Everything your student does at our program has an academic focus. Activities include but are not limited to:

– Homework Help Center
– Reading Room
– Math Center
– Technology Center
– Arts & Crafts
– Science Center

Q. Who are ELC’s Academic Aftercare teachers?

A. Our teachers are professional educators carefully selected to match the students needs. Ranging from an Associate’s Degree to a Master’s Degree, they teach the curriculum they specialize in.
Our teacher to student ratio during Homework Helper sessions is 1 teacher for every 4-5 students which provides a small classroom learning environment.

Q. What are the fees for this program?

A. ELC’s Academic Aftercare program is $15.00 per day, per child and we accept grades K-6th. We are also NOWESCAP subsidy accepted.
